Syncbnb has been growing amazingly fast since its launch in 2018, redefining itself along the way. 2020 was a pivotal year that reshaped a large part of the industry, and could not have left us unaffected. The bet we made going into the pandemic was simple: Come out of it stronger.
And boy, oh boy, did we come out stronger!
Syncbnb is a company that thrives through change and challenge. Our agile mindset and customer focused strategy allowed us to think outside the box and build new products, optimise existing flows, expand our training regimens and become a much more optimised organisation as a whole. All these actions allowed us to rise to a higher level in our market and start evaluating our options on how to grow faster.

Situated in the heart of the huge LatAm market, Getabed is one of the top software companies focused on hospitality and is highly regarded by customers and peers alike. We met the Getabed team early in 2020 and it was obvious early on that it would be a match made in heaven. The team’s values aligned perfectly with our own and the technology stack was similar, making the integration of the Getabed platform into Syncbnb a perfectly achievable task.
Growing, growing, growing
The acquisition of Getabed’s STR business came at a very interesting time – a time when Syncbnb has already added many PMS features into its offering making it much more than just a channel manager – much more than just “Sync”. The addition of Getabed’s technology and platform into the offering expands our feature set and raises the question: Should we change our name?

True to our spirit of constantly re-inventing ourselves, and realizing that the name “Syncbnb” no longer represents our offering, the acquisition of Getabed was the perfect trigger for the big change: Syncbnb is now Hosthub!
